English Summer Camp 2026
Lifelong memories made here
What do you get when you combine the best international staff, massive amounts of living English, awesome activities, and the breathtaking natural setting of our private mountain campsite? An absolutely unforgettable summer for your child! Only at English Adventure Summer Camp!
We live and play together in English, with ability-specific programs for children from absolute beginner to native level. English isn’t a school subject here – it’s a tool for connecting, creating, and having fun!
Our residential summer camps nourish both independence and interdependence – a sense of self along with care for others. Children build their self-confidence and social skills in a supportive values-driven environment.
Healthy outdoor play, nature education, crafts, and much more – there’s something to captivate and challenge every child. Camp is a screen-free environment, filled instead with thoughtfully designed activities that kids love, led by well trained staff from around the world.
Our private campsite is a former ski resort in the mountains of Niigata, Japan. It’s one huge reason that English Adventure camps are so special. Cool forests, wide open fields, a private lake, indoor activity spaces, comfortable lodging and dining facilities – it’s got it all. An easy journey from Tokyo, it’s a world away from city life. New in Summer 2026!
EA Games
Inspired by the classic “color wars” at American summer camps, the EA Games bring this beloved tradition to Japan. Campers are divided into teams for athletic, artistic, and creative challenges throughout the session, all while building teamwork, cooperation, and friendships across ages and abilities. The emphasis is on fun, inclusivity, and good sportsmanship, ending with the whole camp reunited and lasting memories made. 2026 marks the start of an exciting new tradition at English Adventure, and your child is invited to be part of it!
Nature Education
At the lakeside, or in the forest, our nature education specialist shares insights and new ways of understanding the rich living environment around us. This can include engaging games that include lessons about the natural world, and hands-on exploration and discovery of the natural world.
