Swim, hike, and enjoy lots of great camp activities, while learning about oceans, volcanoes and more! First we travel to Izu-Oshima Island by high-speed ferry - only an hour and forty-five minutes from Tokyo! Our postcard-perfect campsite is the base for four days of unsurpassed island fun.

We'll explore the tide pools near our campsite, in perhaps the most fascinating activity at camp. Kids can get up close and personal with a surprising variety of ocean life, and learn more about it with our expert instructors and well-designed natural science curriculum.

Of course we also have fun just splashing and swimming at the beach and in the campground pool, or jumping high from the campsite's dock into the calm and clear water below! We use the pool for snorkeling lessons, and then take our skills into the sea. Of course kids can set their own limits based on their comfort level, and it all takes place under the watchful eye of English Adventure staff.

We practice teamwork as we make our own delicious and nutritious meals each day. And we also enjoy plenty of other traditional summer camp fun, including a campfire with songs and roasted marshmallows. Have an unforgettable summer at English Adventure's Izu-Oshima Ocean Camp!
